DIED HERE SUNDAY

John B. Adams, 74, died Sunday afternoon at his home, in Glen avenue, following a long illness. He had been in poor health since 1929 and had been confined to his bed since last January.

He was born in North Osceola, June 13, 1870, son of Alvah and Augusta Clemens Adams. He has been a railroad carpenter for many years until ill health forced him to retire. For many years he had been a member of the Odd Fellows.
Surviving Mr. Adams are his widow, Mrs. Lucy Colvin Adams; two daughters, Mrs. C. Owen McNett, Pulaski, and Mrs. Arby L. Hort, Oswego; one son, E. C. Adams, principal of the George Hall Trade school, Ogdensburg; eight grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Charles Emerson, Dalton, Mass., and Mrs. Hal Moyhew, New Haven, Conn., and one brother, George Adams, Dalton, Mass.

Funeral services will be held at his home at 2 p.m. Wednesday. Burial will be in Riverside cemetery, Pulaski.
