With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Frances Shelton (Cheltenham, Maryland), who passed away on May 2, 2022 [sic] at the age of 91. She was predeceased by : her father James Philip Coyne; her husband Hugh F. Shelton (Shelly); her son Frank Shelton; her granddaughter Amanda Brickner; and her siblings, James, William, John and Helen.

She is survived by : her children, Kathleen Ann Loeffler (David) of North Beach, Thomas Shelton of Fort Washington, James "Jim" Shelton (Elizabeth) of Alton, NH, Richard "Rich" Shelton (Carrie) of Falls Church, Esther Brickner of Falls Church and Joseph "Joe" Shelton of Fort Washington; her grandchildren, Frankie Shelton (Rhonda), David Loeffler, Jr. (Jennifer Counts), Jarrett Loeffler (Angelique), Christopher Loeffler (Melanie), Nicholas Loeffler (Karen), Laurie Gray (Tyler), Jason Brickner, Carter Shelton and Olivia Shelton; and her great grandchildren, Autumn Shelton, Alivia Shelton, Jarrett Loeffler, Jr., Jacqueline Loeffler, Alicia Loeffler Jack Loeffler, Connor Loeffler, Finnian Gray, Emerson Gray, Brady Redman and Erika O'Connor. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Monday, May 16th 2022 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the St. Anthony's Catholic Church (8816 Chesapeake Ave, North Beach, MD 20714). A funeral service will be held on Monday, May 16th 2022 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, June 1st 2022 at 11:15 AM at the Md Veterans Cemetery-Cheltenham (11301 Crain Hwy, Cheltenham, MD 20623).

Mary married Hugh Farce Shelton, son of Richard Ferman Shelton and Carrie (Coraline) Mae Lusk. (Hugh Farce Shelton was born on 14 Nov 1929 in Alabama and died on 14 Jul 2007 in Prince Georges, Maryland.)
