Bio: BRIGHT YOUNG LIFE CAME TO A CLOSE TODAY Particularly sad was the death early this morning of Miss Lucy Card Mantor, which occurred at her home, 611 Varick Street. She had been ill for some time and though her death was not unexpected, the untimeliness in which her bright life came to a close will bring grief to many hearts. Miss Mantor perfected many of the plans for her own funeral knowing that she had but a short time to live. She was born in Syracuse 17 years ago but, when 5 years of age, she came with her parents to this city. She received her education in the public schools of Utica, was a member of Sayre Memorial Church and took an active interest in the Sunday school connected therewith. Besides her mother Jean Scott Mantor, she is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Jeanie Eisman and Mis Helen Mantor; and three brothers, George and Lloyd Mantor, all of this city and Morrison J.
