Bio: Mr. Floyd T. Mantor, 80, of 208 Main St., January 6, 1978, at St. Luke's Memorial Hospital Center. He was born September 14, 1897 in Syracuse, NY, the son of George and Jean Scott Mantor. He came to Utica at an early age and was educated in the local schools. He married Dorothy Imoberstag in 1923. She died in 1938. He married Dorothy Fuller in Utica in 1943. Mr. Mantor was a member of St. John's Episcopal Church, A WWI Army Veteran of the Navy serving over seas. He was a member of Hiram Baker Barracks #668 WWI Veteran's and was employed at NYC Railroad, retiring in 1960. Besides his wife he is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Raymond (Margaret) Biggs of Utica, Miss Nancy J. Mantor of Hollywood, Fla, and Mrs. Joseph (Lucille) Halpin of Whitesboro; and one son Thomas C. Mantor of Maryland, another son, Albert E. Mantor died August 1977; one sister, Mrs. George (Helen) Barber of Sauquoit, 14 grandchildren, four great-grandsons and several nieces, nephews and cousins. The Funeral will me Monday at 9:30 from the J. W. Dimbleby Funeral Home and 10 a.m. from the St. John's Episcopal Church, Whitesboro. Interment in Forest Hill Cemetery, Utica. Calling hours Saturday 7-9 and Sunday 2-4 and 7-9Published in the Utica Observer Dispatch (Utica, NY), Saturday, January 7, 1978
