Waterville - Mrs. Melinda Hinderer, 58, of Waterville died in Eastern State Hospital in Medical Lake Sunday. Mrs. Hinderer was born Dec. 13, 1897 in Kiester, Minn. She was graduated from the schools and baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran Church there. Mrs. Hinderer attended normal school at Bellingham and taught in the Douglas school one term. She was married to Emmanuel Hinderer Sept. 1, 1924, at Waterville, where the family had resided since. Surviving are: her husband, Emmanuel Hinderer of Waterville; three sons, Mark, John, and Paul Hinderer, all of Waterville; one daughter, Olga Irene Hinderer of New York City; her mother, Mrs. Mary Hintz of Kiester, Minn.; three brothers; and two sisters. Thomas Funeral Home will announce funeral arrangements.

Funeral Notices: Melinda Hinderer - Services will be held Wednesday 2 p.m. from the American Lutheran Church in Waterville with Rev. E. E. Zellmer officiating. The family's wish is that those caring to make memorial contributions to the Douglas County Memorial Hospital, or those who prefer may send flowers. Interment will be in the Waterville Cemetery. Arrangements by Thomas Funeral Home.
