Mrs. Lucille Neild, 49, wife of Earl Neild, 155 E. Utica St., died at the residence of her sister, Mrs. Robert (Ruth) Strong on Tuesday evening, after a long illness.

Born in Pulaski, she was the daughter of the late Arby and Ruth Adams Hort and resided most of her life in Oswego. She was a graduate, of Oswego High School, a member of Christ Episcopal Church, Harborbrook Extension Service and officer of Lake City Chapter, 352, Order of Eastern Star.

Surviving, besides her husband and sister, are four daughters, Mrs. Philip (Barbara) Sagneri, Mrs. Terry (Bonnie) Shear and Miss Verna Neild of Oswego and Mrs. Edward (Brenda) Church of Bay Shore. L. I.: a son, Gene Neild of Oswego; a brother, Lt. John Hort, U. S. Navy, Tokyo; seven grandchildren; also, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 3 p.m. at the Dowdle Funeral Home and at 10 a. m. in Meade Memorial Chapel of Christ Church with Rev. Frederick R. Mills officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home, Wednesday from 7-9 p. m. and Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p. m.

Lucille married Earl Neild. (Earl Neild was born in 1911 in Oswego, Oswego, New York and died on 20 Jan 1996 in Oswego, Oswego, New York.)
