Funeral O. E. Shepard

The funeral of the late Oscar E. Shepard occurred from, the family home on West fifth street this afternoon and was largely attended by prominent business men and citizens. Mr. Shepard and family were members of Christ Episcopal church and the funeral service was conducted by the rector, the Rev. P. N. Meade. The pall bearers were W. B. Hosmer, Floyd Clark, H. D. McCaffrey, L. L. Sherman, J. A. Beazing, O. F. Gaylord. Burial was at Riverside.

Capt. Edwin M. Shepard, U. S. N. arrived in this city last evening to attend the funeral of his brother, the late Oscar E. Shepard, who died on Saturday night last. Capt. Shepard is a guest at the Doolittle House.
