Miss Abby L. Shepard, daughter of our well known townsman, Oscar E. Shepard, left this morning on the 6:50 train on the R. W. & O. R. R. for Youngstown, Ohio where she will take a very fine position in the public schools in that city. Miss Shepard has been teaching in primary school No. 13, on West Fourth street, Fifth ward, for the last three years and was well liked. She is a very competent teacher. It is reported that Mrs. F. H. Grant of the Stebbins kindergarten school will take Miss Shepard's place at School No 13 and Miss Parmalee will have Mrs. Grant's position in the kindergarten.

A very quiet wedding took place at St. John's church in Youngstown, Ohio, last Wednesday, November 29th. Miss Abbie Louisa Shepard, daughter of the late O. L. Shepard of Oswego, was united in marriage to Mr. Thomas H. Bulla, superintendent of the schools of Youngstown, Ohio. Mrs. Bulla is one of Oswego's brightest and most talented young ladies. Before leaving a year or two ago to accept a position as teacher in a school in Youngstown, she taught for some time in Oswego schools. She has a large circle of friends in Oswego who express best wishes for her happiness. Mrs. Bulla's mother, Mrs. O. E. Shepard, and sister, Miss Mabel Shepard, have gone to Youngstown, and they expect to make it their home for the winter.
